Dataset contains geochemistry data from the Romanian EEZ. Data were collected on board R/V Mare Nigrum, during a cruise conducted in July 2024, funded by the national project "Improving the monitoring program for the Romanian Black Sea self in order to increase the capacity to assess and predict the impact of multistressors on marine ecosystem services" PN 23 30 01 03" and H2020 BRIDGE-BS. Thirty-eight stations distributed along 5 main transects (Sf. Gheorghe-SE, Sulina-SE, Portita-SE, Constanta-SE, and Mangalia-E) were performed for geochemical investigations by the GeoEcoMar team. Sediment samples were collected using Van Veen grab sampler and Multicorer MARK II-400, and analyzed for major and minor components as well as trace elements (by X-ray fluorescence), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (by liquid cromatography) in the GeoEcoMar lab.
