Bathymetry data (SBES) acquired in Project PROMED, onboard the R/V Istros, in May 2008, during the river cruise IST-2008.05 along Danube river, covering the surfaces of Bala bottleneck (critical sector for navigation), of Giurgeni-Brăila river sector (river-km 171-237) also known as "Insula Mică a Brailei", the main objective of the project and of Galati-Giurgiulești river sector.
